I’ve loved baby showers since before I was pregnant. My favorite part about baby showers was the games they played and how hilarious it was to have adults participate. Over the years I’ve compiled a list of my favorite baby shower games to play and the most hilarious ones.
If planned correctly, baby shower games can actually take up a huge part of the baby shower time.
1. Feed the Baby
In this game, you need:
- Teams of Two
- Blindfolds
- Baby food
- Bibs or Papertowels
- Plastic spoons
How to Play:
How many teams you want to make is up to you. Once you have your teams, you choose one person to be the baby and the other to be the adult. The adult is then blindfolded and given a small container of baby food and spoon. Have the “baby” sit on a chair and the “adult” stand in front of the “baby”. On the count of three, all teams start feeding their “baby”. The team who finishes the baby food the fastest wins!

2. Finish The Bottle
What you need:
- Baby bottles
- Beer
How to Play: you fill up as many baby bottles with beer. You then pick an adult for each baby bottle and have them come to the front. On the count of three, all adults start drinking their baby bottles. The adult who finished the beer first wins!

3. Make A Diaper
What you need:
- Teams of 2
- Toilet paper rolls
How to Play:
Each team picks an “adult” and a “baby”. On the count of three, the “adult” starts wrapping the toilet paper around “the baby” in hopes of creating a durable toilet paper diaper. The team who creates the most resistant toilet paper diaper wins! Some fun ways to find out if a diaper is resistant is by having the crowd vote or having “the babies” compete in a dance off.
4. Dress the Baby
What you need:
- Baby Dolls or Stuffed Animals
- Cheap newborn sized diapers
- Cheap newborn sized clothes such as plain onesies or socks
Pick the number of volunteers you want for this game based on the number of baby dolls or stuffed animals you have. Once you picked the number of players, you will blind fold them and give them each a= baby doll with a diaper and an outfit. On the count of three, all players start dressing their baby. The player that puts their babies diaper correctly and dresses them the fastest wins the game.

5. Daddy Gives Birth
What you need:
- 10 Ballons (More or less depending on how many players you want)
How to Play:
Once you’ve selected your players, give them each an uninflated balloon. Without telling them what it’s for tell them to blow the balloon and tie it. Once they did that, have them place the balloon under their shirts. (Try to pick players that are wearing stretchy or loose fitting shirts) On the count of three each player has to try to get the balloon to come out of their shirts without using their hands. This can be done by jumping up and down, dancing, wiggling or any other creative way players can think of. The first player to drop the balloon from their shirt wins!

These are my top 5 baby shower games that I recommend you play. There hasn’t been one baby shower that I went through where these five games weren’t a hit. The soon to be parents and guests will enjoy these games and they are also great ice breakers for families who are just beginning to meet each other.
Have fun at your baby shower!
With Love,
Andrea ❤
